Our Motive Series Holiday Coffee comes from Finca Patio Bonito in the Cauca region of Colombia, a natural processed Pink Bourbon varietal that brings vibrant notes reminding us of candy and boozy cocoa. It’s a delicious, expressive filter option and shines as a sweet, light-style espresso. Patio Bonito is a hardworking, innovative family-run farm in Caldono, led by founder Carlos Trujillo, who has been dedicated to coffee farming for nearly 50 years. He’s joined by his daughter, Paola Trujillo, whose experience as a cupper and buyer in Nariño and Huila has been instrumental in elevating the farm’s processing. Since returning in 2022, Paola has introduced new methods, including thermal shock and anaerobic processes that have pushed their washed and natural coffees into exciting, high-quality territory, perfectly showcased in this holiday release.
