50% Honduras, Ernelio Ortiz - Finca El Pedrero - Anaerobic NaturalErnelio Ortiz is the owner and manager of Finca El Pedrero, located in the Montecillos area of Honduras. Spanning 12 hectares, the farm is predominantly dedicated to coffee cultivation, with smaller areas featuring avocado trees. Ernelio estimates that he has around 56,000 coffee trees, primarily of the Catuai and IHCAFE 90 varieties. He expressed his appreciation for coffee and its positive impact on his family's quality of life.
50% Guatemala, Finca Pampojilá - Anaerobic NaturalFinca Pampojilá, established in the 1850s by Manuel and Monica Diaz, is a historic agricultural estate in Guatemala. Over the years, it has received numerous national accolades. In 2010, the farm suffered damage from tropical storm Agatha and was subsequently sold by the Diaz family to Agropecuaria Atitlán. Finca Pampojilá is affiliated with the Association of Private Natural Reserves of Guatemala, with half of its land dedicated to preserving its natural tropical forest environment.These two coffees come together to produce a sweet fruity flavour profile with subtle spices and dark chocolate.
