Finca Genesis, owned and operated by Marco Cabrera, is a 10-hectare agricultural estate that was established in 2018. Out of the 10 hectares, 3.5 are dedicated to cultivating 5,000 coffee trees, which are manually harvested between July and September. These trees include Catuai, Gesha, Java and Pacamara varietals.
This particular coffee is a natural processed red catuai variety that is carefully selected when fully ripe, sorted, and then dried for a period of 15-20 days at the farm.
Marco is a family man and named the farm Finca Genesis after his daughter, Genesis.
2023 was Marco's first harvest year, he had a very successful crop and entered his 72hr fermented Catuai in national competitions, taking second place in 'Best of Bolivia' 2023.
We particularly love the delightful combination of sweet and juicy flavours that this coffee showcases, especially as it gradually cools down.
