We are really excited to release this delicious washed Gesha from Raquel Lasso's farm Finca La Bohemia in Nariño, Colombia. 

Raquel Lasso grew up around coffee and some of her earliest memories are alongside the harvest, wet milling and selling of coffee. At an early age, she recognized coffee as an engine for economic development in her community and she has since made a name for herself as a prominent advocate for coffee growers in her area.

She is the owner and operator of Finca La Bohemia and president of FUDAM, a 300 member association of growers focused on quality coffee, sustainable agriculture, and environmental protection and development. 

Promoting gender equality in coffee is very important to Raquel, she also formed Manos de Mujeres, a group that focuses on the empowerment of women coffee growers in Nariño.

We are loving this coffee as both a filter and espresso option. 

One of our roastery staff, Quinn recently used this coffee in the Canadian Barista Championship Qualifiers where he placed 6th, qualifying for the National Championship in August.
